To the editor:
The Insurance Association of Greater Houlton, affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Women, International, would like to thank all of the businesses that helped make the Blue Jeans for Babies Campaign a success! During the month of October, employees were allowed to wear jeans on Friday for a small donation each week.
The following local businesses were involved: all F.A. Peabody offices from Hampden to Caribou, Greg Carlson’s State Farm Agency in Orono, Gallagher Agency in Caribou, H.O. Perry and Sons in Fort Fairfield, Randy Lincoln Agency in Houlton, Varney Agency in Houlton, Town of Houlton and Sargent Trucking in Mars Hill.
A total of $850 was raised for the March of Dimes!
