To the editor:
Another election has come and gone and with it an excitement and passion that has not been seen in our nation for too long.
The one factor that epitomizes this year’s election for me was the complete involvement and attention that the youth of our country showed as the election progressed. These young citizens will one day be the leaders who guide us into a future filled with new discoveries and, yes, pitfalls that will surely arise. I think that they have finally found a leader who they are willing to follow! Maybe now the United States will once again become a nation to be proud of, a nation that the world can look up to as a passionate leader.
On election night I saw four things on the face of our president-elect. I saw strength, I saw determination, I saw pride in our nation and I saw youth. Maybe now our world can begin to heal.
