CARIBOU – The following cases were heard at the Aroostook Superior Court in Caribou during the month of May, 2008:
Michael G. Roy, 22, Eagle Lake: driving to endanger, dismissed.
Darlene J. Ruest, 40, Bangor: probation violation, 45 days in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued. James E. Schillinger, 36, Presque Isle: eluding an officer, six months in jail with all but 30 days suspended and one year probation.
Marie S. Schuler, 49, Presque Isle: disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, dismissed; violating condition of release, 24 hours in jail.
Stephen P. Shaw, 44, Presque Isle: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 30 months in prison with all but six months suspended, two years probation and $11,752.07 restitution.
Darryl I. Sherwood, 58, Fort Fairfield: OUI – two priors, $1,100 fine, 10 months in jail with all but 30 days suspended, one-year probation, license suspension and four-year registration suspension; operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine; violating condition of release, 14 days in jail.
Cher Simon, 33, Woodland: operating while license suspended or revoked – prior, $500 fine.
Thirisha Simon, 30, Caribou: probation violation, two years in prison, probation partially revoked and probation continued; operating after habitual offender revocation – prior, $1,000 fine and two years in prison; burglary, five years in prison with all suspended, two years probation and $450 restitution; criminal mischief, 364 days in prison; burglary of a motor vehicle, 364 days in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, six months in jail.
John L. Smith, 64, Limestone: probation violation, probation revoked, no sentence imposed.
Jacques R. St. Pierre, 41, Van Buren: violating protective order, filed with $50 court costs; criminal threatening, filed with $50 court costs; assault, $1,000 fine; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, $1,000 fine.
Marguerite J. Theriault, 46, Madawaska: probation violation, 48 hours in jail, probation partially revoked and continued.
Kevin Thibodeau, 26, Van Buren: probation violation, 60 days in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued.
Mark Thibodeau, 38, Van Buren: unlawful possession of hydrocodone, dismissed.
Robert D. Thornton, 50, Caribou: criminal trespassing, dismissed; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, dismissed.
Thomas C. Watkin, 20, Presque Isle: theft by receiving stolen property, dismissed.
Edwin D. Weiland, 31, Presque Isle: forgery, dismissed; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed.
Courtney M. White, 26, Presque Isle: probation violation, 45 days in jail and probation revoked; burglary, dismissed; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 18 months in jail with all but 45 days suspended, one year probation and $649.41 restitution; criminal trespassing, 30 days in jail.
Jerry D. York, 23, Easton: operating while license suspended or revoked – prior, $500 fine.

Christopher J. Andrews, 29, Virginia Beach, Va.: assault, dismissed; terrorizing, dismissed; disorderly conduct, $500 fine.
Branden K. Brewer, 24, Presque Isle: burglary, 18 months in prison with all but 106 days suspended, one year probation and $649.41 restitution; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 60 days in jail.
Martin K. Chambers, 47, Fort Fairfield: (sentencing corrected) aggravated assault, $300 fine, six years in prison with all but one year suspended, two years probation and $46,316.92 restitution.
John A. Davenport, 58, Easton: operating under the influence (OUI), $700 fine, five days in jail and 90-day license suspension; operating vehicle without license-cond/restric, $500 fine.
Michelle E. Deabay, 29, Presque Isle: assault, filed at no cost.
Derek B. Demerchant, 21, Presque Isle: probation violation, 30 days in jail, probation partially revoked and continued.
Robert A. Doody, 42, Woodland: theft by receiving stolen property, four years in prison with all but six months suspended, three years probation and $562.53 restitution; possession of machine gun, six months in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer (two counts), six months in jail (each).
Kathryn E. Foster, 54, Mars Hill: assault, filed with $200 court costs.
Paul J. Hafford, 22, Sheridan: assault, filed with $400 court costs.
Judson J. Harding, 23, Presque Isle: assault, filed with $300 court costs.
Jeffrey W. Houlton: 30, Caribou: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and $500 fine, three days in jail.
Bruce R. King, 29, Oakfield: criminal threatening with dangerous weapon, not guilty; kidnapping, not guilty.
Donald E. Kirkbride, 38, Blaine: assault, dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, $300 fine.
Randy Scott Lee Jr., 28, Fort Fairfield: probation violation, 48 hours in jail, probation partially revoked and continued.
