HARPERS AND HANDBELL RINGERS — “Sounds of the Seasons” concert and tea will be held on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Houlton. From left, Jeannie Cunliffe, Paula Lilley, Jean Collett, Dale Holden, Lynn Tweedie, Susan McMann, and Marilyn Carey. Cunliffe is the hand- bell director and Holden directs the harpers.
Tea, coffee, and punch will compliment a variety of delicious goodies to satisfy the sweet tooth and the health conscious.
The concert will feature a delightful mix of music from the four seasons, including old favorites, new music and a special hand bell medley of patriotic tunes.
The bells and harps will combine for the “Winter Season” portion of the program. This part will include a Harrison Roper special arrangement for bells for “White Christmas”.
The program is free to the public. Any donations received will defray the cost of the music and the use of the church. The building is handicapped accessible.
The bell ringers and harpers hope that you will join them for this entertaining afternoon.
