• Coaches and staff members at the Limestone Community School will be holding their annual Fall Sports Awards evening Thursday, Nov. 13. These awards will be in recognition of student athletes on the high school and middle level fall sports teams. The awards program will in the school auditorium and will begin at 6 p.m.
• The Limestone Community School Parent teacher conferences will be held Monday, Nov. 24, from noon-4:30 p.m. and from 5:30-8p.m. Parents are asked to call 325-4742 to schedule an appointment.
• The Caribou Friends of Scouting will be hosting an Autumn Supper Saturday Nov. 22, starting at 5 p.m. at the Caribou VFW on the Van Buren Road. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 4-12, children 3 and under are free.
All proceeds will benefit the new Scout hall in Caribou.
• The Harvest Inn Social Club, managed by AMHC for adults with mental health diagnosis, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the basement at One Vaughn Place in Caribou. For more information contact 498-2347.
• Friends of the Robert A. Frost Memorial Library will be sponsoring a ‘Game Time at the Library’, Nov. 19, from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Students in grades K through 6 are invited to play a variety of board and card games. A light snack will e served. Participants may also enter a contest for a free book give-away.
•The Caribou United Baptist Church, 74 High Street in Caribou, extends an invitation to a Thanksgiving Eve Service, Nov. 26 at 6 p.m.
• Red Cross Pampered Chef Fundraiser Nov. 18, 5 – 8 p.m. at the Caribou Lions Club building on High Street in Caribou. This event will be much like an open house setting. Those interested may come and go as needed and are encouraged to bring as many guests as desired. All proceeds go directly to the Red Cross.
• Cornerstone Christian Academy will be hosting a “Step Into Christmas” Dessert Fellowship, Fri., Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. Enjoy a great dessert while listening to Christmas Carols. There will also be a Silent Dessert Auction, as well as the auctioning of sporting and concert tickets and shopping weekend packages. Tickets are $5 per person and may be purchased from any CCA student, at the CCA office or at the door.
• The service clubs of Fort Fairfield will be sponsoring their annual Thanksgiving dinner for anyone in need. Free delivery will be provided in the Fort Fairfield area for shut-ins who are unable to attend.
The dinner will be served promptly at 11:30 a.m. at the Fort Fairfield VFW Hall located on Presque Isle Street in Fort Fairfield. Entertainment will be provided.
