Ruth and Gilbert Parent of Caswell, recently presented State Rep. Bernard Ayotte, center, with a beautiful hand-painted portrait of St. Mary’s Elementary School in Caswell, in commemoration of Ayotte’s graduation from the school 50 years ago. Both the state representative and Gilbert Parent graduated from St. Mary’s Elementary School in June of 1958.
