Brett Anthony Nadeau, 8-year-old son of Andy and Laura (Knorr) Nadeau of Asheville, N.C. was recently presented the Principal’s Award at Avery’s Creek Elementary School for his exemplary performance during the first nine-week grading period. The award is based upon academic excellence, leadership and service to others. Nadeau, a third-grader, was also selected as Student of the Week and was the recipient of a Perfect Attendance medal.
Nadeau is a member of the Math All-Stars Team, the Accelerated Reading Program, and the third-grade recycling team and he enjoys playing soccer, baseball and basketball. When he’s not playing sports, he loves watching the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics on TV with his dad.
Brett is the grandson of George and Joyce Knorr and Doris Nadeau, all of Caribou, and the great-grandson of Ada L. Dunn of Eagle Lake. Nadeau resides in Asheville with his parents and younger brother, Jarett.
