The University of Maine at Presque Isle will be holding a Midnight Madness basketball event Monday, Oct. 20 at Wieden Gymnasium.
Being held from 11 p.m.-1 a.m., Midnight Madness will give the the public the opportunity to meet the players on this year’s Owl men’s and women’s basketball teams. Tracy Guerrette is in her second year as the head coach of the UMPI women, while Terry Cummings begins his first year with the men’s squad.
All the other UM-Presque Isle sports teams will also be represented. Also featured as part of the festivities is a faculty/staff vs. student basketball game. Contests, drawings, prizes, food, bands and more will also be part of the event.
