The Caribou Performing Arts was rocking ’n’ rolling recently when Robert ‘Elvis’ Washington took to the stage performing to a near capacity audience. The event was part of the Annual Holy Rosary Homecoming Weekend Celebration.
“Wise men say,” Robert ‘Elvis’ Washington croons to his audience during the recent performance at the CPAC.
Washington, an Elvis impersonator, provided a music filled evening with two non-stop sessions of the King’s ageless and ever popular music. The first session was music from the early Elvis Presley years, as Washington, complete with the lip and hip moves, dressed in a white sport coat and fushia -colored pants, crooned to the crowd. The second part of the show featured “Elvis” in his well-remembered jewel encrusted jumpsuit, complete with a seemingly endless supply of scarves which were given out to audience members.
Having a scarf worn by ‘Elvis’ bestowed upon you — priceless.
Jillian Flynn and Nick Sleeper proved that the music of the King knows no limitations. The two handed out programs prior to the performance of Robert ‘Elvis’ Washington. They also grabbed a chance to get a little stage time, when they showed the King he wasn’t the only one who could dance.
Enjoying the show
