The Houlton area Cleary Law Knights high school-aged football team will be playing at Community Park under the lights on Saturday, Oct. 11. This is a pivotal game, as a win would clinch a playoff spot for the varsity Knights for a third year in a row.
Concessions will be available. Additionally, there will be hot food and drinks on hand. The menu includes chili, beef stew, chop suey, biscuits and rolls, along with whoopie pies, date squares, cookies, brownies and apple cake. There will also be a bake sale and a craft sale. Bring the whole family out for Saturday night under the lights.ON THE RUN – The Knights’ John Smith runs in for a touchdown against Howland during last Saturday’s game. The Knights won, 46-6. Last Saturday, Oct. 4, the varsity Knights crushed Howland, 46-6. The Knights have two regular season games left, and by winning both, the Knights would clinch first place and host a playoff game in Houlton on Oct. 25.
