Couturier, Rachel M., 75, September 28, 2008.  Arrangements by Duncan Funeral Home, Mars Hill.  Interment was held in the Grindstone Cemetery, Medway.
    Mars Hill – Rachel M. Couturier, 75, died September 28, 2008, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born in Eaton, Maine, on July 7, 1933, the daughter of Maurice and Pearl (Kinney) Gray.
    She was a graduate of Danforth High School and Zion Bible Institute of East Providence, RI. She ministered in several churches in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maine and New Brunswick, Canada.
    She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Joseph “Edward” Couturier of Mars Hill; one daughter, Lila Lou Couturier of Long Island, New York; four brothers, James B. Gray of Medway and Eaton, Paul L. Gray of Eaton, Benjamin M. Gray of Naples, FL, and Sidney F. Gray of Eaton; two sisters, Mavis E. Turner and Diane M. Davis both of Medway. She is predeceased by a half-brother, Cecil Grey of Southington, CT.
    Friends and family called at Duncan Funeral Home on 8 Main St. in Mars Hill from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30. Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, with her nephew Rev. Tyler Davis as officiate. Friends and family called from 12 noon  until the time of the service at 2 p.m., at Zion Pentecostal Church, Mattawamkeag. Interment was held in the Grindstone Cemetery in Medway.
