Sarah Joanne Thibault, of Mapleton, and Travis Wade Hamel, of Herman, announce their engagement. Sarah is the daughter of David and Donna Thibault, of Mapleton. Travis is the son of Tom and Nan Hamel, of Milford.
The prospective bride is attending Northern Maine Community College for medical transcription. The future groom graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Maine at Orono. He currently works for Woodard and Curran.
The date for the wedding is April 18, 2009.
