St. Francis and Marlboro, CT – Mary C. Ouellette, 90, wife of the late Clement Ouellette died September 10, 2008 in Marlboro, CT. She was born in Allagash December 2, 1917, the daughter of the late Ernest and Eunice (Castonguay) Walker. Mary resided in St. Francis until after her children were grown. She was employed as the cook at the St. Francis school, was also employed by Family Planning of Maine, and was a caregiver for several elderly clients until her retirement. Mary married Clement Ouellette in 1942.
She is survived by her three children, a son, Tim and his wife Linda of Donella, FL and their three children, Lorna, Robert and Michael, a son, Bob and his wife Florence of Caribou and their two daughters, Sherry and Heidi, and a daughter, Toni Cyr of Hebron, Ct., and her two daughters Kim and Karen; one sister Patsy Nadeau, four sisters-in-law: Charlene Walker, Claudine Walker, Sylvia Ouellette and Kate Ouellette, all of St. Francis and a brother-in-law Adrian Jandreau of St. John. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ouellette was predeceased by her husband, five brothers; Pete, Edgar, Leo, Rene and Morris Walker and three sisters; Margaret Pelletier, Nellie Hathaway and Betty Jandreau.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008, at St Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis with Fr. Richard Ouellette, officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
