Potato truck involved in rollover

   EASTON – A potato truck driver escaped serious injury July 15 when the potato truck he was driving rolled over.    At approximately 3 p.m. on July 15 Maine State Police were notified of an accident involving a loaded potato truck on the Conant Road in Easton.
   “The truck was traveling west on the Conant Road in Easton. The 1990 International, owned by Madore Farms, of Connor, was operated by James Lewis, 49, of Caribou,” said Sgt. Tom Pelletier, of the MSP.
   Pelletier indicated the driver failed to negotiate a curve, left the road. The truck rolled on its side.
   “The driver was uninjured. The damage to the truck and the load was estimated between $10,000 and $15,000.
