Rotary Club
The Mars Hill Rotary Club met at the Aroostook Health Center on Tuesday, July 22, at 6:30 a.m. The special speaker was Dr. James Hotham, a returning native son, who has a veterinarian practice in Presque Isle.
Jim graduated from UMO with a B.S. in animal studies. He then went to school at a Prince Edward Island Veterinarian College. He worked in Vermont, mainly with dairy cattle, for four years following graduation before moving back to Blaine with his wife, Stacie. He works in Presque Isle with small animals and also works county-wide with larger animals – usually making “house calls.”
He is currently constructing an office on Centerline Road and plans on holding a grand opening in September.
