Man injured in bike accident

   A accident victim is listed in fair condition at a Bangor hospital after a motorcycle incident at Cross Lake, according to Maine State Police.
   According to a statement by the Maine State Police Troop F, Mark Theriault, 44, was eastbound on Route 162 in T17-R5, Cross Lake, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, when he apparently lost control of the 1989 Harley Davidson.
   The motorcycle swerved off of the road and Theriault was thrown from the bike, police said.
   Theriault received serious head injuries from the crash, and was transported by ambulance to Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent, police said.
   Life Flight later transported him to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, according to state police.
   Information about his hometown was not available from the police.
   Theriault was not wearing a helmet at the time the crash occurred, and the motorcycle received extensive damage. The accident is being investigated by Trooper Dan Marquis.
