Wednesday, July 16
10:17 a.m. Route 1 — Harassment — A female caller advised while she was flagging on  Route 1 south a  female subject made a complaint to her boss that she and her daughter, have been making inappropriate gestures when they go by; also said this had been going on for some time. Caller stated this was her first day at work.
    Action — Officer advised caller he would attempt to contact subjects and address the issue with them.
1:59 p.m. High Street — Motor Vehicle Complaint — Female caller advised police while on High Street by a local business she had been cut off  on two separate occasions. Requested police to speak to vehicle operator.
    Action — Officer contacted subject via phone. She stated to police she had thought she had time to enter the roadway and hadn’t realized  caller was traveling that fast and said she is usually quite cautious.
3:22 p.m. Theft — Caller reported a female subject  who did not want her kids on her property was refusing to return a baseball that the kids had accidentally hit onto the property.
    Action — Officer spoke with the subject  neighbor and retrieved the ball; returning it to the owners.
3:57 p.m. Noyes Road — Motor Vehicle Complaint — Caller reported a vehicle operator was squealing it was making excessive noise by squealing the tires near the bridge on the Noyes Road. There was also a second vehicle horsing around.
    Action — Police determined vehicle owners and shortly after the owner of one vehicle called and said it had not been them, as their vehicle was parked and they had been swimming when the caller  had confronted them. Police were advised of a second vehicle that had been making excessive noise. Officer would attempt  to locate and speak with operator.
7:20 p.m. Sweden Street — Motor Vehicle Complaint — Female caller advised while at a friends residence on Sweden Street  she witnessed a male subject driving by recklessly, while with two small children were outside. Caller requested police speak to vehicle operator about his driving habits.
    Action — Officer will attempt to locate and speak to operator.
7:43 p.m. Spring Street — Civil — Male individual came into the police station reporting that his neighbor  had damaged his truck and garage while mowing his lawn.
    Action — Officer noticed the lawn had been freshly mowed and the driveway which was shared between the two residences was crushed rock. Officer noted where the lawn mower had driven over the crushed rock, throwing them through one of the garage door windows. Individuals truck was parked in the driveway6 and officer could see where rocks had chipped and dented the passenger side of the vehicle from front to back. Neighbor was not home at the time.

Thursday, July 17
5:17 p.m. Bradley Street — Motor Vehicle Complaint — Caller advised of a vehicle riding around in the snow dump with little children steering  while another child , not wearing a seatbelt was in the passenger seat.
    Action — Officer spoke with vehicle owners who did state she had been out and about in her vehicle. She was informed of the complaint and received a warning that the children needed to be properly secured in car seats when in the vehicle.
6:27 p.m. Glenn Street — Disorderly Conduct — Caller reporting being at the Teague park playground and there were several subjects in the gazebo using inappropriate language for the children in the area.
    Action — Officer  advised subjects of the complaint and to clean up their language. Subjects apologized and said it wouldn’t happen again.
Friday, July 18
1p.m.— Agency Assistance — Caller from the Sex Offender Registry requested an e-mail to assist in trying to locate a male subject in order to inform him to register, as he is now required to register for life due to a 1997 conviction.
    Action _ Police will attempt to locate subject. At 1:10 p.m. officer located subject and informed him to expect a registration packet and he would have to register for life. Individual from the Sex Offender Registry was contacted and given the correct address for subject.
4:20  p.m. Bennett Drive — Police Information — An older male subject, appearing suspicious was reported to be playing basketball across from a local business
    Action — Officer investigated and advised  other officers he had seen him there in the past.
Saturday, July 19
2:45 a.m. East Presque Isle Road — Suspicious Activity — Caller advised it appeared as if some people were coming and going at neighbors residence and thought they might be breaking in; a flashlight could been seen in the yard.
    Action — Officer determined it appeared that caller was actually seeing people at a residence next door to the one she had thought was being entered. 11:55 a.m. Ogren Road — Public Assistance — A male inquired if his neighbor had the right to target shoot all day long, as it gets a bit annoying. He informed police that this activity had been going on every weekend, sometimes starting at 7 a.m.
    Action — Officer said he would speak with subjects and see if they could limit the amount of shooting as it is excessive and disturbing to the neighbors. Individuals had ceased activity prior to officer arriving in the area.
4:20 p.m. Limestone Street — Harassment — A female caller reported that a male subject had been harassing her continuously, via text messages, phone calls, going to her work place and her home. Caller requested police to have all contact stopped.
    Action — Officer informed caller to obtain a Protection Order from the court and he would speak to male subject, telling him to stop contact as well. Female called again reporting subject was following her while she was in route to her home. Officer spoke with subject advising to cease contact. Caller requested extra patrol by her residence .
7:52 p.m. Bennett Drive — Theft — Caller from a local business advised police a female shoplifter had been apprehended. The items had been recovered and caller requested subject and the individual with her to be located and informed she is banned from the business.
    Action — Officer located subjects advising they were both banned from the business.
Sunday, July 20
9:14 p.m. Noyes Road — Juvenile Complaint — Caller reported several male juveniles by the bridge have a bonfire going and a being a little loud. Requested police check on them.
    Action — Officer located juveniles under the bridge; the fire as just about out.
Monday, July 21
 3:41 p.m. Morgan Drive. — Criminal Mischief — Caller reported sometime during the night someone had dumped a bucket of flowers, strewed others which had been planted, and broken a religious statue that had been on the lawn.     Action — Officer will check the area.
4:15 p.m. High Street — Theft — A representative from a  local business advised police of a shoplifter and was requested an officer be present.
    Action — Officer  issued warning to subject not to return to business for one year.
Tuesday, July 22
10:30 p.m. Washburn — Motor Vehicle  Complaint — Caller advised of receiving a 9-1-1 call informing them about a motor vehicle accident in Washburn. Caller said there was front end damage to the vehicle.
    Action — Office would watch for a vehicle with front end damage.
