Officials with the Aroostook County Democratic Committee and Maine Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign officially opened the Aroostook Democratic Office at 404 Main Street in Presque Isle on July 18.
Congressman Mike Michaud, Diana Allen, wife of U.S. Senate candidate, Rep. Tom Allen, Aroostook Democratic Chair, Virginia Manuel, Legislative leaders, Coordinated Campaign staff, and Democratic activists participated in the official opening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony on the 18th.
“The office has been open since late May with volunteers from all over central Aroostook making telephone calls to voters to encourage their support for our candidates and to discuss issues of importance,” said Manuel.
