The grand opening of the Fort Fairfield Community Market was held on Saturday, June 28. Steady crowds were on hand to shop with vendors from all over Aroostook County selling their wares ranging from woodworking, painting, and collectibles to locally-raised meat and organic vegetables.

More vendors are anticipated each week. The Fort Fairfield Community Market will be in operation every Saturday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. throughout the summer, with hours expanding to Wednesdays and Sundays as the weather improves. The Market is located at 227 Main Street in Fort Fairfield. For more information or to become a vendor you can contact the Fort Fairfield Chamber of Commerce at 472-3802 or go online at www.fortcc.org. Vendors include: Kaclyn Krafts, Organic Sam’s, Goodwives Produce, R & G Hobbies & Collectibles and Bernadette Christensen Crafts.
