The meaning of community

To the editor,
    We want to publicly thank the Gregg family for their second annual Farm Days on June 28 and 29. The Greggs have shown us the meaning of community. We appreciate their hard work and determination that made this happen. The setting was perfect. Demonstrations, entertainment, vendors, visitors — all revealed the scope of talent and know-how, and the wonderful people found in Aroostook County and other Maine places.     Farm Days give the communities of Aroostook a place to bring old and young alike to the same event and enjoy camaraderie, good food, and a chance to learn new things about days gone by. Just the right blend of things to do, see and buy, Farm Days are certainly something to look forward to every year!
