The Houlton Parks and Recreation Department will be sending 18 youth to the state Hershey Track & Field meet in Brewer on July 2.
Those qualifying at the regional meet last Tuesday in Caribou were as follows:
9-10-year-old division: Amelia Hanning, Rylee Warman, Alexis Ireland and Sarah Delano, third place 4×100 relay; Cameron E. Clark, third place 50-meter dash, 100-meter dash and standing long jump; Isaiha Littleton, second place, standing long jump and Hunter McLaughlin, third place, 400-meter dash.
11-12-year-old division: Sarah Abbotoni, third place, 100-meter dash; Destiny Russell, third place, 200-meter dash; Emily Mooers, first place 4×100 relay, third place 400-meter dash and standing long jump; Lily Hanning, Allix Hanson and Taylor Graham, first place 4×100 relay; Cameron J. Clark, first place 100-meter dash and 4×100 relay; Isaac Cone, first place 200-meter dash, standing long jump and 4×100 relay;
Kyle Bouchard, first place in softball throw and 4×100 relay and Devin McLaughlin, first place in 4×100 relay.
13-14-year-old division: Samantha Keegan, third place standing long jump.
Team members receiving ribbons were: Phoenix Crockett, fifth place in 100-meter dash; Keegan, fourth place in 100-meter dash and fifth in softball throw; Logan Grant, fourth place in standing long jump; D. McLaughlin, fourth place in 800-meter run and sixth place in softball throw; Bouchard, fifth place in 800-meter run; Alana Pratt, sixth place in 100-meter dash and fourth in 4×100 relay; Taylor Graham, fifth in 200-meter dash; Lexi Garcia-Ponder, fourth in 4×100 relay; Sarah Abbotoni, fourth in 4×100 relay; Mikayla Fitzpatrick, fifth in standing long jump; Olivia White, fourth in 4×100 relay; Alexis Ireland, fifth in 200-meter dash; Sarah Delano, fourth in 200-meter dash; Chloe Davis, fourth in 4×100 relay; Russell, Kelly McLaughlin and Tessa Roshto, fourth in 4×100 relay.
Other team members were: Colby Callnan, Emily Dickison, Noah Grant and John Thatcher.
