The 13th annual Northern Maine Soap Box Derby race is Saturday on Derby Hill in Community Park in Houlton. Trial runs will be held from 3-7 p.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, rain or shine.
Local businesses wanting to provide support and promotional items to put in racers’ bags may call Marie Carmichael at the Houlton Recreation Department at 532-1310.
