Honoring their flag

HONORING THEIR FLAG — Students from Houlton Elementary School carefully fold this flag in preparation for a new one.
The students received a flag that had been flown for one day at a U.S. military base in Iraq and were going to hang it from their school’s flagpole. Pictured here from left are grade 3 students Walker Webb and Nick Cowperthwaite. The school’s entire class population was present for the changing of the flags on Friday, June 13.
