Karen Kane graduated May 17, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich.
Graduating Cum Laude and named to the top 20 percent of her law school class, Kane is a former teacher and graduate of Providence College where she earned a masters degree in education and is also an alumni of Saint Anselm College, in Manchester, N.H., where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and secondary education. Kane, a 1999 graduate of Caribou High School, is the daughter of Tom and Gloria Kane of Caribou.
