PRESIDENT RECEIVES SUPPORT – Don Zillman, who has served as president at the University of Maine at Presque Isle for nearly two years now, received the unanimous support of the University of Maine System’s Board of Trustees on Monday, May 19.
The trustees met at UMPI to discuss a number of issues, including the UMS budget and selection of a president for the Presque Isle campus. Citing Zillman’s strengths at the local, state, national and international level, Board members agreed Zillman was the best man for the position. Pictured are Zillman and UMS Chancellor Richard Pattenaude.  (Story and more photos will run in a future edition.)
