5 p.m. Jacobs Avenue — Disorderly Conduct — Female caller advised she was having problems with a male subject.
Action — Officer spoke with caller.
Saturday, May 10
11:40 a.m. Grimes Road — Suspicious Person — Female caller reported her daughter had called her at work in regard to occupants in a vehicle, parked in the yard and she didn’t know who the subjects were. Caller requested an officer to check the residence.
Action — Officer was responding when station was notified by caller that they did know who the subjects were. Officer continued to residence to verify everything was OK.
2:21 p.m. Washburn Road — Agency Assistance — Caribou police assistance was requested from another agency to locate an identified vehicle and hold for reckless operation.
Action — Two officers looked for vehicle.
7:34 p.m. Bennett Drive — Harassment — Female caller from a local business reported a male subject gawking though the windows, making employees uncomfortable. Requested an officer to tell subject to cease these actions.
Action — Officer was unable to locate subject, but informed business they would continue to look for and would advise him to stay away from their location.
9:05 p.m. Jacobs Avenue — Harassment — Female caller reported juveniles kept knocking at her door.
Action — Officer unable to locate anyone but would continue to check the area.
9:41 p.m. Summit Avenue — Theft — Female reported while she and her father had been out and upon returning to his residence determined three solar lights were missing. Caller requested an officer patrol the area more frequently.
Action — Officer will watch the area. Resident owner then came to station reporting five more lights had been taken. He noted he had two left and will leave them in hopes those stealing them will return that night after dark.
10:17 p.m. River Road — Disorderly Conduct — Caller advised hearing a big bang outside and then what had sounded like three gunshots coming from a neighbor’s residence.
Action — Officer spoke with neighbor who reported everything was all set. Officer believed it was fireworks from across the river and he would check.
Sunday, May 11
9:40 a.m. Bennett Drive — Check on Wellbeing — Caller advised an employee had not shown up for work and is not answering her phone or the door,
Action — Officer checked the residence; vehicle was in the dooryard but there was no answer at the door; will check back later. Officer spoke with subject at 11:50 a.m., everything all set.
6 p.m. Washburn Street — Lost Property — Caller reported finding a bike in the stream off the walking path.
Action — Officer fished bike out of the stream.
10:38 a.m. Washburn Road — Criminal Mischief — Male caller reported a vehicle had just pulled in and thrown something through the front window of a trailer. Vehicle last seen headed toward town.
Action — Officer located the vehicle on Hatch Drive with four occupants. Each individual was charged, three subjects were out on bail and they were also charged with that violation.
Monday, May 12
9:13 a.m. Maple Street — Animal Complaint — Caller advised police of a dog in the neighborhood keeps coming over to his property, leaving “a present”. The owner lets the dog out, it goes wherever, does its deed then goes home. Requested the issue be addressed.
Action — Officer notified owner and leash law was explained, hopefully problem is resolved.
9:20 a.m. Lyndon Street — Animal Complaint — Female caller reported the same dog as previouscomplaint being on her property . Caller runs a Daycare and kids are always stepping in the droppings. She would like something done about this problem is possible.
Action — Officer spoke to someone at the same residence , explained the leash law again.
8:08 p.m. High Street — Criminal Trespass — Caller from a local business advised police of a subject who has been previously banned from the store.
Action — Subject was warned for criminal trespass if she returned.
8:30 p.m. Bennett Drive — Juvenile — Police were advised of a group of juveniles yanking on a power pole guy wire at a local business.
Action — Officer checked the area with negative contact.
10:12 p.m. West Gate Road — Disorderly Conduct — A female advised police she had asked a group of people to leave her residence, they had refused and were currently out in the yard preparing to fight.
Action — Another individual called reporting two females had just left. One female was attacking a male individual with a stick, so he defended himself. Officers stopped the subject’s vehicle and requested an ambulance for one of the subjects., and another for a pregnant female who did not require transporting. One female had received a hit to the right side of the head and another was complaining of pain to her shoulder and right arm. Both reported being assaulted by a male subject. The other group reported different accounts saying the two females came to discuss an auto part purchase and things had gotten out of hand; the two females were asked to leave but refused, with one grabbing a stick from a vehicle, hitting one of the males several times before he retaliated by striking her in the head. Statements were taken and paperwork was issued to one female for OAS, no inspection sticker and assault.
Tuesday, May 13
8:54 a.m. Bennett Drive — Suspicious Person — Female caller reported an individual in Teague Park was acting very strangely. Advised subject was yelling and talking to himself, appearing to be under the influence of drugs.
Action — Officer located subject and determined he did not seem to be from the area, but did not seem to be causing any issues.
