The Stockholm American Legion, Perkins-Plourde Post 136, will be placing flags at the following cemeteries:
• Stockholm Catholic Cemetery — 8 a.m.
• Stockholm Protestant Cemetery — 8:15 a.m.
• New Sweden Cemetery — 9 a.m.
• Westmanland Cemetery — 9:30 a.m.
• Jemtland Cemetery — 10 a.m.
• Cross Lake Cemetery — 11 a.m.
• The Post Everlasting, Stockholm American Legion Memorial Day program will take place at 1 p.m.
Monday, May 26
• Gold Star Mothers/Sisters breakfast at the Caribou American Legion Hall from 7:30-9 a.m.
• Line-up for parade at the court house at 9:30 a.m.
• Caribou Memorial Day Parade begins at 10 a.m.
• Caribou Monument program at the end of parade route. Wreaths will be placed at the monument at this time. Program speaker will be Don Collins.
• Special Memorial Day program scheduled at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Caribou starts at 1 p.m.
