CARIBOU – Dennis E. Wilcox, 60, passed away May 7, 2008, at Caribou following a short battle with cancer. He was born at Caribou, November 7, 1947, the son of Rev. Elden and Eldora (Green) Wilcox. Dennis was a graduate of the Caribou High School and he was employed at Northeast Packing Co. in Presque Isle for many years. He was a member of the North Star Pentecostal Church in Perham.
Surviving in addition to his father Rev. Elden Wilcox of Caribou are his finance’ Robin Tarbox of Perham, one son Brian Pelletier of Caribou and his partner Emily Townsend; one brother George Wilcox of Caribou; one sister Vicki Yerka of Caribou; three grandchildren Mia, Alton and Nicholas Pelletier all of Caribou; one step son Elton Pelletier of CT and one step daughter Crystal Tarbox of Perham. Dennis was predeceased by his mother Eldora Wilcox on January 30, 2006.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2008, from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bruce Blakney, officiating. Interment took place in the Woodland Cemetery. For online registery please go to www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
