The Joint Committee of School Union 122 will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 12 at the Woodland School library. Included on the agenda is a proposed new administrative configuration of the superintendent, the special education and curriculum coordinator positions for the next school year.
John Hedman is the union’s superintendent and Paul Swanson holds the latter position.
The union board will also receive a presentation from Hedman on the new budget validation referendum process for approval of school budget next year.
Also included on the meeting’s agenda is the superintendent’s update on the next round of the Regional Planning Committee to implement the governor’s school consolidation plan.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17 at the Woodland School.
The Union board is composed of the school committees from the towns of Stockholm, New Sweden, Westmanland and Woodland.
