Special thanks to town of Houlton

To the editor:
On behalf of my brothers and sister and me, I would like to thank the people of the greater Houlton community for their warmth and kindness in the aftermath of the Jan. 11 accident that took my father, Philip Crowley and his companion, Yvonne Bigelow. Without exception, this community reached out to us and showed us why my father and Yvonne loved their life in Houlton so much.
We would like to especially thank Reverend David Hutchinson and the entire congregation of First Church of Houlton, the Bowers family of the Bowers Funeral Home, the staff at Ivey’s Motor Lodge, Barry Tower at the Orient Post Office, Ruth at the Dallas Henderson Agency, Attorney Patrick Hunt and his assistant Darcy, Joanne Carpenter, Registrar of Probate, Mrs. Cameron in the Hodgdon Town Hall, Benn’s Auto and all of the friendly faces that greeted us at the restaurants and shops around town.
So again, we thank you for helping us with these first difficult steps after such a sudden and heartbreaking loss.
