PRESQUE ISLE – Local youth will take to the stage Jan. 26, performing songs, dance routines and more in hopes of winning this year’s Kiwanis Talent Revue.     “We have approximately 19 entrants this year, from elementary-age youth to high school and college students,” said Craig Green, a member of the Presque Isle Kiwanis Club and one of the event’s organizers. “We have singers, dancers, musicians, a magician and even a juggler in our lineup this year.”
Performances will get under way following introductions.
Participating in the elementary school grades 1 through 5 category are: Dylan Shaw, with a vocal presentation; Abigayle Clark, with a flute solo; Lillie Mahan and Kimberly Cook will perform a clogging routine; Jordan Buckley, is offering a vocal performance; Kelsey Gilson, has a jazz dance lined up; and Dylan LaMothe will share his magical skills with a magic presentation.

Following intermissions, acknowledgements will take place once the audience settles back in for the second half of the evening’s entertainment.
High school students in grades 9 through 12 will take to the stage next, with these participants sharing their talents: Shayna da Cruz will perform a lyrical dance; Maddasin and Sophie Willette will join forces on a vocal duet; Kyle Maier will perform a ballet/hip-hop dance; Julia Brown and Matt Flora have teamed up to perform a vocal duet; Sarah Gorneault offers a ballet routine for her talent; Danielle Lane will perform a vocal selection; with Julea Gorneault will provide a hip-hop dance routine for her talent.

“Once everyone has performed, awards will be presented to the top performers,” said Green.
The finale will bring the cast and audience together for the singing of “America the Beautiful.”
The event will take place at the Presque Isle Middle School beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5.
