FALMOUTH – Skating Club of Maine-Northern Region member, Katelyn White recently participated in the Snowflake Skate competition in Falmouth on Dec. 30th. The Snowflake Skate competition is an annual event hosted by the North Atlantic Figure Skating Club.
White, daughter of Bruce and Elaine White of Easton, placed first in basic six elements and fifth in the basic seven program portion of the competition. Coach Sarah Duncan was also in attendance at the competition assisting White during her warmups and putting her on the ice for her element and program events. In addition to White’s accomplishments in Falmouth, she was also the raffle winner of new blinking skate guards. She currently is working on her basic seven elements and looks forward to skating in the 2008 Annual Musical on Ice on March 8th.
