Parental warning

To the editor:
    Most of our community believes in God, whether they go to church or not.     I’d like to inform all the Moms and Dads in our area about a children’s movie being released Dec. 7, 2007, called “The Golden Compass.” The movie has been described as “atheism for kids” — to bash Christianity and promote atheism.
    I strongly feel parents need to know this information so they can make the decision for their children.
