Brianne McGary, daughter of Ronnie and Darlene McGary of Hodgdon, was recently named the Sunrise Conference Rookie and Offensive Player of the Year for the University of Maine at Fort Kent. She also was selected for the All-Conference team.
McGary is a freshman at UMFK and plays forward. She is a 2007 graduate of Hodgdon High School where she was active in sports and extracurricular activities.
