Alton Gustin and Deborah Gustin, of Presque Isle have announced the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Gustin of August to Shawn Carey, the son of David Carey and Susan Carey, all of Augusta. The prospective bride is a 1994 graduate of Presque Isle High School and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle. She is the store manager of Bath & Body Works in Augusta.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta and a 1996 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington. He is a teacher at Winslow High School.
An August 2008 wedding is being planned.
