Thursday, Nov. 1
8:10 a.m. River Road – Harassment – Male caller reported a male subject was harassing him while he was hunting. The male caller said that the male subject kept driving into areas where he was hunting and scaring the deer away.
    Action – An officer contacted the Maine Warden’s Service, who said they would contact the male caller about the complaint. 3:10 p.m. Bennett Drive – Disorderly Conduct – Female caller from a local business reported that a female subject was having a heated argument with the staff, and she would like an officer to be on hand.
Friday, Nov. 2
7:20 a.m. Washburn Road – Animal – Male caller advised that a moose with a broken leg was in his back yard.
    Action – An officer advised him to contact the Maine Warden Service about the issue.
11:15 p.m. Skyway Plaza – Disorderly Conduct – Caller from a local bar reported people fighting inside the bar and asked that an officer assist.
    Action – An officer arrived on the scene and found that two people from Presque Isle were arguing with three people from Fort Fairfield. There hadn’t been any physical fighting and the officer sent them all on their way.
11:55 p.m. Bennett Drive – Littering – Caller reported a couple of cars parked near a local business dumping trash out.
    Action – An officer spoke with the drivers of the two vehicles who denied dumping trash and said they were swapping out passengers.
Saturday, Nov. 3
12:20 a.m. Roberts Street – Noise – Female called 9-1-1 to report her neighbor was playing music too loudly.
    Action – An officer spoke with the neighbor who agreed to turn the music down.
7:45 p.m. Bennett Drive – Theft – Female caller reported that a male subject had walked out wearing a pair of her bowling shoes.
    Action – An officer located the male subject who said he had forgotten he was wearing them, and agreed to return them.
Sunday, Nov. 4
3:48 p.m. South Main Street – Disorderly Conduct – Female caller from a local hotel reported that a male subject was there banging his head on her door. The male subject had already trashed his own room.
    Action – An officer arrested the male subject for criminal mischief for damages to the room.
Monday, Nov. 5
1:52 a.m. Laurette Street – Criminal Trespassing – Male caller from a local taxi company reported that the male subject from the two previous calls was caught at the office trying to get into a vehicle. He was told to leave, which he did, but the male caller then observed him across the street trying to break into a vehicle at another local business.
    Action – An officer located the male subject, who denied having tried to break into any vehicles.
3:06 a.m. Bennett Drive – Disorderly Conduct – A local business called to report the male subject from the previous three calls was there bothering customers, and they would like him removed from the property.
    Action – An officer located the male subject, who said that he wanted to go to the hospital. The officer transported the male subject to the hospital and advised him not to return to the Bennett Drive business.
Wednesday, Nov. 7
1 a.m. Roberts Street – Domestic – Male caller reported that he just got home and his girlfriend had locked him out, he would like assistance in getting back in.
    Action – An officer arrived and found that the male caller had gained entry without breaking anything. The male caller’s girlfriend said everything was fine between them and that the officers were bothering her.
2:34 a.m. Roberts Street – Disorderly Conduct – Female caller reported that a nearby couple was fighting and making so much noise that she couldn’t sleep.
    Action – An officer spoke with a female subject from a previous call, who advised that she would be leaving the next day. She was advised that if there was one more complaint someone would be going to court.
9:20 a.m. Caribou Trailer Park – Theft – A local taxi delivered 20 cans of oysters to a Caribou Trailer Park residence, and after receiving the oysters the occupant took them inside and didn’t come back to pay. The occupant wouldn’t come to the door when the taxi driver knocked.
    Action – An officer got the female subject to answer the door. She advised that she didn’t have the money to pay for the oysters. The oysters were returned to the grocery store they had come from and the female subject was warned that she would be charged next time this happens.
10:04 a.m. Main Street – Domestic – Male called 9-1-1 to report that his girlfriend was trying to dump his medication in the toilet.
    Action – An officer checked at the address, and found that all was okay.
10:38 a.m. Route 1 – Suspicious Activity – Caller reported seeing a man at the former scenic turnout with a rifle, without orange on.
    Action – An officer spoke with the male subject, and requested that a warden come to take over the complaint.
Thursday, Nov. 8
6:01 p.m. Van Buren Road – Suspicious Person – Female caller reported a male subject at her door who she didn’t know.
    Action – An officer located the male subject, who had run out of gas and was looking for assistance. The officer drove the male subject to a local gas station for fuel.
10:29 p.m. Access Highway – Theft – Female caller reported purchasing a snake with an aquarium and accessories for $200, and after leaving her apartment for a little while, she found the snake and equipment in a male subject’s apartment.  Upon confronting the male subject she was told he had purchased the snake and equipment from her roommate for $70.
    Action – An officer spoke with the male subject who contended that he had purchased the snake from the female caller’s roommate. The female caller’s roommate reported that she had not made any such deal with the male subject, and that the snake had been reported stolen on Oct. 31. The police department found no record of any such report. The male subject and female caller were each advised to find their paperwork for ownership of the snake.
Saturday, Nov. 10
6 p.m. Route 1 – Traffic Hazard – Female caller reported a couch in the middle of the road which she almost hit. A second call was received from a female caller who reported what she thought was a recliner in the middle of the road, which she had hit.
    Action – An officer checked the area, but the furniture had already been removed.
11:55 p.m. Bennett Drive – Assault – Female caller advised that a female subject at a local bar had spit alcohol in her face while the female caller was singing karaoke. The female caller had then gone to another bar, and reported that the female subject was now there.
Action – An officer spoke with the female subject, and gave her a warning for disorderly conduct.
Sunday, Nov. 11
1 a.m. Roberts Street – Suspicious Person – Female caller reported that she thought someone was on her porch.
    Action – An officer checked the area, but was unable to locate anyone.
1:20 a.m. Skyway Plaza – Assault – Female caller at a local bar, reported being assaulted by a female subject.
    Action – An officer spoke with the female caller and found abrasions to her forehead and below her left eye, that appeared to have been caused by a fight. The female subject was questioned, and she denied any involvement, but then admitted to punching the female subject. The officer took photos and statements, and charged the female subject with assault.
Monday, Nov. 12
4:35 p.m. Hillcrest – Harassment – Female caller reported her neighbor was yelling and swearing at her through the walls.
    Action – An officer spoke with the female caller’s neighbor, who said he was angry because of all the noise coming from next door, but agreed to quiet down.
8:51 p.m. Presque Isle Road – Theft – Female caller reported that she had received a call from her son stating her laptop was missing. The laptop is a Toshiba with a 17” monitor and is missing the “m” and “.” Keys. She paid $1,800 for it two years ago.
    Action – It was found that her daughter had borrowed it and forgot to tell her.
Wednesday, Nov. 14
1:40 a.m. Grove Street – Disorderly Conduct – Female caller stated that a male subject was causing trouble and she wanted him out.
    Action – The officer asked to speak with the male subject and found that he was sleeping. The officer also found that the female caller was at the male subject’s house. The female caller was advised to leave the male subject’s apartment, and was also advised that the next time a call like this was received she would be facing a false report charge.
1:20 p.m. Jacobs Avenue – Criminal Mischief – Caller reported that their vehicle had two flat tires this morning and they appear to have been cut.
    Action – An officer checked the vehicle and thought the tires had been punctured by something, but at that time there were no suspects.
1:30 p.m. Jacobs Avenue – Criminal Mischief – Female caller reported that her tires had been slashed, and she had no idea, who would have done it or why.
2:30 p.m. High Street – Theft – Female caller reported that someone had stolen her inspection sticker, which was a current 2007-2008 sticker and replaced it with a 2006-2007 sticker.
    Action – An officer checked the sticker and found that it matched her vehicle’s VIN number. The female caller reported that she wasn’t sure how her information would have gotten on the sticker. An officer contacted the garage where the vehicle was inspected to find out if the sticker was legitimate.
5 p.m. Main Street – Theft – Female caller reported someone had stolen her cell phone and satellite radio from her vehicle that was parked outside a local office.
6:20 p.m. Sweden Street – Motor Vehicle Complaint – Male caller reported following a van that was driving on the wrong side of the road.
    Action – An officer located the vehicle and arrested the driver for OUI.
