Michaud, James Jr., 20, Caribou and Fort Fairfield, in Presque Isle, November 17, 2007. Friends may call at the funeral home November 23 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., November 24 at the funeral home. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou     Caribou and Fort Fairfield – James Michaud Jr., 20, died unexpectedly, November 17, 2007, at Presque Isle as the result of an automobile accident. He was born at Caribou November 27, 1986, the son of James and Karen (Hooey) Michaud Sr. He was employed with Bouchard Farms in Caribou. Jim was a volunteer firefighter for the town of Fort Fairfield and was a past member of the North Star Search and Rescue. He was an avid race car fan, racing #86 at Spud Speedway this summer.  He married Kristy (McEwen) Michaud on June 16, 2006.
    Surviving in addition to his wife of Fort Fairfield and his parents of Caribou are three daughters Sierra, Stephanie and Riley Michaud all of Fort Fairfield; a sister Kyra Joe Michaud of Caribou; his maternal grandfather Raymond Hooey Sr. and his step-grandmother, Gladys Hooey of Caribou; foster grandparents Jeffrey and Ozline Fisher of Caribou; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Joseph and Delia (Michaud) Pelletier and his maternal grandmother Martina (Lagassie) Hooey.
    Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2007, at the funeral home with Pastor Darren Bonville officiating. Interment will take place in the New Holy Rosary Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of James may do so to the family.  Envelopes may be obtained through the funeral home.
