Let’s make Caribou the ‘best it can be’

To the editor:
    Thanks to all who supported me in my bid for a seat on the Caribou City Council, either through encouragement, votes, placing signs, and then picking them up following election. I also thank Judy Corrow the City Clerk and her crew who diligently worked through the entire Election Day, and beyond, counting the results.     It was gratifying to personally meet and greet the voters, young and old alike, making their way down the hallway at the Caribou Learning Center, some with great difficulty, but intent on exercising their right to vote — those are my heroes!
    It is with pride that I assume this new commitment, and I look forward to serving. My goals are to make positive contributions for the betterment of Caribou, serving the residents to the best of my God-given abilities, and as I have previously stated … make the city of Caribou “the best that it can be.”
    Again, I thank you all for the opportunity to serve.
