Silver, Wilma “Pinty”, 74, of Wade, died September 26, 2007 at a Portland hospital. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Perham. Silver , 74, passed away September 26, 2007 at a Portland Hospital. She was born May 30, 1933, in St John, Me., the daughter of Albert and Vivian (Mullen) Mills.
Wilma graduated from Caribou High School in 1950, and married Archie Silver the same year. Together they farmed and raised a family. Wilma was a member of the Dunntown Advent Christian Church, and church activities were an important part of her life. She enjoyed her weekly get togethers with her friends at the beauty shop and going out for breakfast.
Wilma was predeceased by her husband of 54 years of marriage. She is survived by her two sons and two daughters, Kent Silver and his wife Becky of Winterville, Ga, Kim Silver and his wife Stephanie of Wade, Melody Brann and her husband Wendell of Oakland, Marcy Silver of Wade; her nine grandchildren, Amanda and Lara Silver, Heidi, Tricia and Nicholas Silver, Vicki Canales and her husband James, Kristen, Nicole, and Zachary Brann; one great-grandchild Elijah Canales; a brother Leigh Mills and his wife Hylyn of Cross Lake; a sister Dawn Busharda of Kensington, CT and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 30th, at the Dunntown Advent Christian Church with the Rev George McLaughlin officiating. Friends and family were invited to share memories in celebration of Wilma’s life. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Perham.
