Fund-raiser walk to benefit breast cancer

    HOULTON — The second annual, “Bridge to Hope,” breast cancer walk has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13 at Houlton’s Riverfront Park.     Registration for the 5K walk will start at 9 a.m. and the walk will start at 10 a.m. Participants will start and finish at the North Street side of the pedestrian bridge.
    Participants can collect pledges for the walk or join in the day of the walk. All  proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Pledge packets can be picked up at the following businesses: County Girl Fitness, York’s Bookstore, Jean’s Serendipity, the Gentle Memorial Building, Netherland Office Products, Diane’s Tanning, Trendsetters, Lisa’s Hair Designs and Daniel’s Florist.
