Katahdin Trust Company Senior Vice President Retail Services Bonnie Foster has announced the appointment of Patty A. Hersey as corporate services officer. “The bank is pleased to have a high-quality individual such as Patty in this position. Throughout our market area she will offer her expertise to our current corporate customers and establish new relationships with prospective customers,” said Foster.
Hersey has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She joined Katahdin Trust Company as electronic banking clerk in 1999, was promoted to supervisor of deposit operations in 2002 and to operations officer in 2006. In her new position, she will be responsible for selling and training of the bank’s corporate products and services such as online banking, bill payment and the bank’s newest product offering eCheck Deposit, a merchant capture service.
Hersey attended Houlton High School and the Northern New England School of Banking in Durham, N.H. She obtained her Supervisory Leadership Certificate from the University of Maine at Orono and General Financial Services diploma from the Northern New England Center for Financial Training.
Hersey serves as a committee member of the Houlton High School Music Boosters and the Out of the Darkness Community Walk for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She resides in Houlton with her husband Wendell and has three children: Nicholas, Mariah and Ian.
