Beckum and Plissey take Houlton 8K

The overall male winner of the 8K Bull’s Run held Saturday in Houlton was Thomas Beckum of Caribou with a time of 28:02, while the overall female winner was Susan Plissey of Presque Isle with a time of 34:27.
    In the 14 and younger age group: male winner, Kevin Strid, Caribou, 43:09.
Winners of the 15-19 year category: male, Corey Lewis, Littleton,  40:02 and female, Julie Carson, Caribou, 38:59.
Winning the 20-29 age division was Sarah Beasley, Houlton, 41:24 and Linda Gover, Caribou, 45:36.
No runners entered in the 30-39 years of age bracket.
Male winners in the 40-49 age group, Jeff Ashby, Fort Fairfield,  28:49 and Bob Everett, Fort Fairfield, 30:49    Female winners, Francis Prest, Presque Isle, 40:34 and Wendy Lewis, Littleton, 49:36.
Male winners of the 50-59 age division, Steve Emery, Island Falls,  35:02 and Tom Weston, Houlton, 36:43.
Winning the 60 and older division, male, Larry Tonzi, Houlton, 37:21 and  David Benn, Waterville, 41:53.
There were no entries in the 50-59 year old female and 60 and older age categories.
