UAP Northeast has announced that Joe Vigue joined the sales team as a new field representative effective March 15. Vigue currently resides in Castle Hill, with his wife Holly. Joe and Holly are both very excited to be expecting their first child in the fall.
Vigue has been involved in the agricultural industry since 1999 when he started working as a loan officer for Farm Credit of Maine in Presque Isle. In 2002, he decided to pursue a job selling crop nutritional products for Currie Chemical. This job led him to UAP Northeast, where he will be servicing the southern district. Currently, he is the president of the Central Aroostook Young Farmers organization.
Vigue was born in Presque Isle and graduated from Presque Isle High School. He then went on to graduate from the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a bachelor of arts in business. After college, a short stay in Boston made Vigue realize how much he missed the county. This realization led him back to the county where he has been living ever since.
Outside of work Vigue is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, camp, his woodlot and being with his family.
