PAGE, Darrel R., 62, of Easton, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Boston, MA. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at the Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Caribou.

    Easton– Darrel R. Page, 62, husband of Adeline A. Page, passed away Tuesday morning, June 12, 2007 at Boston, MA, following a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on November 10, 1944 at Wade, the son of Ralph D. and Hazel V. (Wilcox) Page.
    He was a graduate of the Easton High School, Class of 1962 and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Darrel was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Era and was married to Adeline A. Hutchins on July 30, 1966. He was an active member of the American Legion Pattee-Page Post No. 187, Easton, and a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, a tradition he has passed on to all four grandsons. Darrel was a lifelong avid Red Sox, Patriots and Maine Black Bear fan. He was employed with the United States Civil Service having retired in 2004. In recent years one could find him enjoying his time with his friends and family at his camp on Deering Lake.  
    Mr. Page was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his loving wife, Adeline A. Page of Easton; one son, Greg Page and his wife Allison of Wade; two daughters, Tracy Hathaway and her husband Larry, Mary Anne Page-Anderson and her husband Shayne, all of Easton; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Iola Page of Easton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Robert Burnes of Owing Mills, Maryland, Jeanette and Paul Rediker of Fort Fairfield; seven very special grandchildren, Sarah-the studious one, Mikaela-the prankster buddy, Keagan-his little Red Sox buddy, Trevor- his gardening buddy, John his fishing buddy, Joseph-his geography buddy, and beautiful “Baby Lura”; sisters-in-law, Myrna and husband Allan Hathaway, Lureen and husband Chip Beaton, Leah Hutchins; and brother-in-law Wade Ferris; several special  nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
    There will be no calling hours. A memorial service was conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2007 at the Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 37 Lombard Road, Caribou. Interment will take place at the Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Caribou.
