SMART, Cecilia (Cote) “Billie”, 86, of Presque Isle, passed away at a Presque Isle health facility. There will be no calling hours.
    PRESQUE ISLE – Cecilia Smart, 86 passed away June 13, 2007 at a Presque Isle health care facility with her loving granddaughter by her side. She was born April 20, 1921 in Presque Isle, the daughter of Antoine and Annie (Bishop) Cote.
    Cecilia was an avid BINGO player, and enjoyed the banter with the members of the PI Elks Club.
    She is survived by eight children; Roseanna Gray of Camden, Nancy Caron of Presque Isle, Robert Smart of Winterport, Paul Vaillancourt of Washburn, Sandra Cray of Mapleton, Fred and David Smart of Presque Isle, and Joy Smart of Conn., one sister Jeanette Brown of Conn., many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Cecilia was predeceased by her husband Rene Smart in 1965, and three sons, Charlie, Peter, and Eugene.
    At her request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service was held 2PM Saturday, June 16, 2007 at St. Mary’s North Main Street Catholic Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Moody officiating.
