Miss Maine National Teenager Pageant 2007

Three young women have been chosen to represent Maine in the America’s National Teenager Scholarship Pageant in Nashville, Tenn., in July. During the pageant finals at Hermon High School on March 25, 11-year-old Ashley Martin, of Van Buren, was crowned the first ever Miss Maine Preteen National Teenager. She received a crown, banner, trophy and travel paid to compete in the national competition. The Preteen category is open to girls ages 9 – 12.
    Casey Bonville, 13, of Presque Isle, walked away with the title of Miss Maine Junior National Teenager, along with her crown, banner, trophy and travel paid to compete in Nashville for a prize package worth $35,000. In addition, she won a $10,000 scholarship to Eckerd College in Florida as an underclass winner of the Citizenship Award.
Jacqueline Heinrich, an 18-year-old high school senior from Cumberland, won the title of Miss Maine National Teenager. Along with the title she won a two-year tuition scholarship to Oklahoma City University. She now has a chance at the national title and a prize package worth $40,000. Jacqueline also received the upper-class Citizenship Award, and a $10,000 scholarship to Eckerd College in Florida.
America’s National Teenager is in its 37th year. The program recognizes young women for outstanding academic achievement, school and community involvement. In addition, they compete in a Personal Expression Competition, Evening Gown and On-Stage Question.
