County Physical Therapy announces new space in PI, Caribou

    County Physical Therapy, LLC (CPT) has announced that it will be moving their Presque Isle clinic at the beginning of June, and their Caribou clinic has added a new rxercise Room. The new spaces increase overall treatment area for both clinics, and are expected to provide a much more patient-friendly environment. 
    In Presque Isle, CPT will be moving to 5 North Street, located in the North Street Shopping Plaza, effective June 4, 2007.  In a letter presented to patients and fitness members, CPT General Manager Richard Ezzy stated that the new location will offer increased treatment space, additional private exam rooms, better changing and locker room facilities, and more parking spaces.  
    “Patients will see a big change in the layout and feel of our clinic,” added CPT-Presque Isle Clinic Manager Paul Marquis.  “The exam rooms will be great for evaluations and other specialty treatments, and the set-up in the clinic will be more convenient and comfortable. Overall, this will be a very motivating space for our patients as well as our staff.”  
    As part of the move, renovation to CPT’s Fitness Center will continue into July, when it will reopen to the general public. “The transition to the new space required a phased move,” explained Ezzy. “CPT Fitness Members with questions about their membership or workout alternatives during the transition should speak with us.”
    In Caribou, CPT has added a 1,000 square foot exercise room adjacent to their current location at 118 Bennett Drive. “This new space has been ideal, especially as we have increased our fitness programs,” according to Ezzy.  “Since opening the room in April, we have added yoga and conditioning classes, and have held three cycling camps. Over the summer, we expect to have a hip-hop exercise class and several other fitness camps and programs.”  
    County Physical Therapy, which celebrates its twentieth anniversary in 2007, has locations in Houlton, Fort Kent, and Madawaska in addition to the clinics in Caribou and Presque Isle. Along with physical therapy, occupational therapy and the many specialized rehab programs, CPT Fitness Centers located in Caribou, Presque Isle, and Fort Kent are open to the general public.
