THEOLINE “TONI” CARON – Ashland – A commmittal service and interment for Theoline “Toni” Caron, 79, who died Mar. 23, 2007 will be held at the St. Mark Cemetery at 1 PM on Thursday, May 17. A service of Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, Ashland.     ASHLAND – Theoline “Toni” Caron, 79, died Mar. 23, 2007 at Mars Hill surrounded by her son and daughter-in-law and the caring people of the Mars Hill nursing home. She was born in St. David, Oct. 5, 1927, the daughter of Alcime and Rose Marie (Michaud) Picard.  
    She worked in the lumber industry along with her husband for many years.  Toni was a hard worker and was very dedicated to her family, church, and community. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Unit 9699 and the Senior Citizens Club of Ashland.  She was also a member of the RSVP and volunteered with various senior citizen agencies receiving several awards over the years for her dedication and service.
     She is survived by one son, Zenon Caron, Jr. and his wife Bobbie-Jo of Ashland; one sister, Cecile Marquis of Bristol, CT; two brothers, Armand Picard and Donat Picard, both of Madawaska; several nieces and nephews.  She will also be sadly missed by special friend Patty Rafford of Ashland.  Toni was predeceased by her husband, Zenon Caron, Sr. in 1971.  
    Her family is truly grateful for the sincere kindnesses and special attention afforded them, but especially for the wonderful caring environment provided by the staff of the Mars Hill Nursing Home during her last days on this earth.
  Relatives and friends may call at the Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland, from 7 to 9 PM on Wednesday and 9 AM until time of service on Thursday.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday at the St. Mark Catholic Church, Ashland.  Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery.  Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the St. Mark Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, in care of St. Mark Parish, PO Box 190, Ashland, 04732.  To leave on-line condolences, please visit www.ouellettefuneralhome.com.
