WESTFIELD, Maine – The Westfield Jubilee Committee has received grant funding in the amount of $3,000 from Basic American Foods, doing business as Naturally Potatoes.
The grant will support the Jubilee Committee’s work on renovating the Main Street and Burleigh Road parks.
Dick Wood, plant manager of Naturally Potatoes, presented the check at the Jubilee Committee’s meeting April 17.
“Support for this type of community project is made possible through Basic American Foods corporate giving program,” said Wood. “Our funding priorities include children, education and the arts. We are always happy to support the communities where our employees live and work.”
