MCLAUGHLIN, Irene James, 88, died April 25, 2007 at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community.
    WAVERLY, IOWA – Irene James McLaughlin, age 88 of Waverly passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community. She was born Feb. 8, 1919 in Presque Isle, Maine the daughter of Cyrus and Hazel James.
    Irene is survived by two daughters, two sons, and ten grandchildren. Also a brother, Lawrence James and his wife Phyllis of Presque Isle, ME, a sister Mildred Hayes and her husband Richard of Shelburne, NH, and a sister Jean Brown and her husband Bernard of Fort Fairfield, Me. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Willis M. McLaughlin, her parents, two sons and a daughter.
    A funeral service was held, April 28 at Good Shepherd Chapel at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community, with Pastor Keith Tomlinson officiating.
